Dharchika

The river\'s kiss

Long walks at night,

Looking at the lonely moon,

Running along the endless track...

Where am I running to?

Who am I running from?

With tears baffled all along,

I took a moment to catch my breath.

I know I shouldn\'t have stopped...

I know I shouldn\'t have seen you...

When you lend your monstrous hands,

I shouldn\'t have grabbed it...

But I did.

You promised me solace,

with your warm smile.

We did run together, not to blame,

not knowing all along, the devil was you.

Clenching your arm, we ran,

running all way, till my feet bled...

But then you left me, with no reason,

So this is it...

I finally found out the truth.

Never expected it from you..

I thought you were my friend,

but you were the devil himself.

If I could turn back time,

would I have still grabbed yours?

I guess I would have...

Now walking all alone,

with thorn slitted wounds,

I reached the river bank.

The calm, cold face of the river,

waiting in the lonely night,

for the final kiss....
