My fitbit is my pride
I wear it day and night
It counts the steps I take
And the bloopers that I make
It gives a ping as I lie on my bed
As if to day – ‘get up, sleepy head’
Time & again, a message it sends
It works very hard – it’s day never ends
‘Stand up’ it orders
Do some exercise
Don’t just keep sitting
And tell me no lies
‘Stand up’ it says
As I go for a bath
It behaves like a horse
That’s pulling the broken cart
My fitbit is a master
That allows no lax or rest
This know-all runs my life
Since it thinks it knows what’s best
