The Titanic

Here today I lie

Staring at the twinkling stars in the sky.

I lay on this raft in the sea,

Waiting for the Reaper to take me.

I lay, surrounded

By those whose voices are silenced.

Tonight had been so fun;

Partying, dancing, drinking rum.

But now they are all gone.

Their faces are pale;

Their lips are blue.

They lie in the sea, aimlessly bobbing

Up and down, up and down.

Here I lie,

Staring at the stars in the sky,

Waiting to die.

I close my eyes and listen to the sea

When suddenly, a flashlight shines down upon me.

Above me stands a man

In a boat filled with the rich.

He grabs ahold of me, and hoists me up--

Onto the boat filled with the rich.

They take my clothes, wrap me in blankets,

And give me their warmth.

There stands the mighty Titanic--

The world\'s first unsinkable ship.

Here she lies, under the sea;

Thousands of feet below me.
