Let us pray that Jesus
May sure reign over us
And that our land may be at peace
That wars and conflicts cease
That our bodies may be
Free from assaults fleshly
Desires that us into sin lead
Your graces, Lord, we need
When these have ceased, we shall
Be able to rest well
Beneath our vines, fig-trees, olives
Blessed with the peace God gives
Those idylls of plenty
Father, Son, Spirit, He
Will shelter us as we rest, gain
We peace of mind again
