Tune: Richmond
(\'Fill thou my life, O Lord my God\')
Psalm 103 v.13-17
********
Like as a father to children
The Lord them pities then
They that fear Him, show reverence
Respecting His presence
For He does know our human frame
And each of us by name
He remembers that dust we are
He who made furthest star
As for mankind, their days shall be
As grass, not lastingly
And as a flower of the field
Flourishing with short yield
For the wind passes over it
Then it is gone, each bit
And the place where mankind was shall
Be no more, thus we tell
But the mercy of the Lord be
From everlasting, see
And to everlasting upon
They that fear Him, each one
