truth in the dark

Just like humans, demons prey on the weak,

With their twisted ways, they seek to sneak,

Into the hearts and minds, of those in need,

And plant the seeds, of their darkened creed.

They lurk in the shadows, waiting for their chance,

To pounce on the vulnerable, with a wicked dance,

They whisper lies, and manipulate the truth,

And leave their victims, feeling lost and uncouth.

They thrive on fear, and feed on despair,

And with their actions, they leave many in disrepair,

They revel in the pain, and enjoy the suffering,

And with their wickedness, they leave hearts smothering.

But just like humans, demons can be defeated,

With love and light, their dark ways are depleted,

For in the end, it is the power of the heart,

That can overcome the demons, and tear them apart.

So let us be strong, in the face of their attack,

And fight back with love, and never turn back,

For in our unity, and our strength of will,

We can conquer the demons, and let our light spill.
