They land for free,
To chirp and feed.
Aren’t charged a price,
Free eats, indeed.
I think they’re beautiful,
Some of Nature’s best.
They split the seeds,
Leave quite a mess.
But, I don’t mind.
No, I don’t care.
I’ll pass the time,
With a long gaze and stare.
Sometimes they don’t,
Get along.
Not share the food,
Or the others’ song.
But, disappoint,
I’d say no.
They’re always putting on,
Quite a show.
