fattening seeds contentedly
burst forth with Spring.
and spread plough-brown with creative
green shades of seasonal swelling.
Thirstily rising to upright by inhaling
sweet showers tall spires,
drunk with mild sun, change pale
to reap-ready honey
and before long bee-covered stamens
charge pollen with energy.
Springtime increase once fired contains
ideal plant-feed for many.
