Jane Walker

Coronation

73 years is all I\'ve waited
To accede to the throne which Mama vacated
One son may not make it to Westminster Abbey
With his wife, who is really rather too gabby
A brother, well, what can I say about him
I\'ll just say his choice of friends is a bit grim
In the midst of the ceremony, my darling wife
Will become Queen Consort for the rest of her life
I\'ve been a bit grouchy from time to time
But you\'ll see a different me when the crown is all mine
I won\'t tolerate family taking the micky
Finding their new homes may prove a bit tricky
How long I\'ll be King only time will tell
But I\'ll do my very best and to the critics I\'ll say what the hell.
