I know that my past
was full of sorrow
and instability
so hollow.
I admit that I had my faults
and I hoped to have someone
to fill in those holes,
but this was a ‘fruitless hunt’.
I just needed something
something that would hold onto;
something that would give me strength;
something that I would personally connected to.
I open up my eyes
I reach out for my strength
and I rise
to the height of ‘The Blue Skies’.
