Well, time ticks
moments and seconds
hours and minutes;
Passing and passing and passing and passing,
even when I am not looking;
Not being aware that time exists;
Not even care if it doesn’t.
I just want to be in the present
without having to be bothered about the future
or even about the past
because they all are filled with uncertainty
not knowing if they will happen
or be remembered
just like how I once wondered
if my past was actually real
and I cannot deal with it
but the only thing that could appeal
is the present
now
the time
to be real
to find the truth
to see with my eyes
to affirm with my mouth
to acknowledge with my heart
to pray with my sincerity
to know that nothing else would matter
if I just focus on what is here...now.
