Glass Box

You threw a rock at my glass box today and expected it not to break.

That\'s so like you.

You threw a rock at my glass box today and expected it not to break.

Well, it did.

You threw a rock and my glass box shattered.

No worries, it can be fixed.

I gather up the broken pieces.

Where do I start?

I gather up the broken pieces and start rebuilding what you broke.

This is easy...wait, I am cut.

The blood is making it hard to tell where the pieces should go.

But I have to fix this.

Hey! Where are you? You should be here helping me!

That\'s so like you.

It\'s not perfect, but I did it. I fixed my glass box.

And there you are...what\'s that in your hand?

Another rock...

See, the glass box is my trust. The rocks are your lies. The cuts are my insecurities.

Each time you lie, my trust is broken. Each lie does more damage than the last. Each cut leaves a scar.

But, no worries, it can be fixed.
