This end we strive so hard to ignore
Creeps slowly behind and ahead of us all
For all we have done does turn to dust
Until one day lay down we must
This will to survive deceives our minds
While our hearts beat away our precious time
And yet the winds blow on and the sun still shines
The mountains grow and the rivers wind
The world keeps turning
Another day goes by
Just to remind us that one day we\'ll die
There\'s no escape nor should there be
For nature needs her symmetry
Mountains crumble and winds become calm
The night comes out when the sun goes down
And one day in the ancient skies
The world will stop turning through space and time
And what will be left when we are dead and gone?
That\'s an answer best left unknown
