Torpedo

An order

A lonely night, I lay awake, wondering where you are.
In the morning, I call your name, but you\'re too far.
At noon, I find you, in the arms of another.
At 3, I see you laugh, knowing he\'s better.
The sun sets, and I pull my sleeve.
Questioning, why did I leave?

Summer comes, and I wade into the water,
Stay until spring, my heart getting softer.
The cold comes, and I wrap my arm,
Shield myself from winter\'s harm.

The breeze picks up, running her hands through my hair,
Tears fall, from up and below, as I rock my chair.
A roar rings from above, waking my veins,
I grab my blade, and take the reins.

A boy, broken, aged into a man much older,
He smiled, for he now understood the natural order.
