Mary arose, went into hill country
To a city of Judah, where there be
Elisabeth her relative, and she
Went into her home, all acceptably
Elisabeth, husband Zacharias
She said, We welcome your visit to us
At greeting of Mary, then the baby
In Elisabeth\'s womb did leap, so be
And she with the Holy Spirt was filled
Spake with loud voice, said, You blessed as God willed
And blessed your child that you will come to bear
Why this honour granted, that I should share?
That you, the mother of my Lord to me
Should come, for when I heard your greeting, see
The babe in my womb leaped for joy, could sense
You and your unborn child\'s gracious presence
And blessed you be, Mary, who have believed
And God\'s promise unto you have received
For it shall be fulfilled, shall be performed
The words spoken unto you from the Lord
