TIME

Wasted years, oh how they weigh

Heavy on the heart, day by day

Moments passed by, without a care

Moments meant to be cherished, now so rare.

The hands of time do not wait

for those who linger, who hesitate

The years that slip by, cannot be regained

The choices we make, have consequences, unchained

Regrets, they haunt, like a ghost unseen

Memories flood back, of what might have been

Time we spent, chasing fleeting dreams

Ignoring the present, till nothing\'s what it seems

Lessons learned, can sometimes quell

The urge to take time for granted, to waste away

For in every moment, there\'s potential to seize the day

So here\'s to the wasted years of our past

A reminder to make every moment last

To live with purpose, to cherish every day

and to never let time just slip away.
