\"Poem! How dangerous to love.
Story. What a way to risk.\"
But though the poem be dangerous,
And the story be perhaps not enough,
Maybe it\'s worth your time,
To write something while you\'re still alive.
It might not have to you much appeal,
But just think of how others might feel,
Reading your works!
Death is a party gag, yet fame has its perks.
Just make darn sure
The life you write for yourself has its own kind of worth.
Don\'t let the party go
Unlaughed, unloved, unmistaken.
If you must love your art enough to say no,
Living dull and slow,
With other things in the making,
Make darn sure you leave a mark for others on this Earth.
