People, they persecute
Me without cause, me confute
But my heart it stands in
Awe of your word, Lord, not sin
In your word I rejoice
I have made it my choice
As one that finds great tore
Of treasures evermore
I hate, abhor lying
Your law do I love, each thing
Seven times a day do
I praise you, your works review
For you act righteously
And not deal unjustly
Great peace have they which do
Love your law, your ways too
Nothing shall them offend
They come not to troubled end
Lord, I have hoped for you
Salvation, show me it sure
I your commands have done
Still seek to do each one
My soul, your laws it sees
Keeps your testimonies
And them exceedingly
I love whole-hearted, so be
I have your precepts kept
By your grace me do accept
All my ways are before
You, my God be you sure
Assist me, help I need
In your good paths me lead
