Shattered dreams

Torn and twisted, the fabric of my soul

Pulled in opposite directions, out of control

One side yearns for freedom and light

the other clings tight to the darkness of night.

Torn apart by the forces of fate

wandering aimlessly, consumed by hate,

for the parts of me I can\'t reconcile

and the shattered dreams I\'m forced to defile.

Amidst the wreckage of my shattered dreams

a glimmer of hope, a flicker of light gleams

Though I may be torn and frayed

I know I can still be remade.

I am not defeated by my tattered soul

With each tear and each mending stitch

I\'m one step closer to breaking through the glitch.

And though I may be torn and worn

I know I\'m a fighter, unbreakable and reborn.
