We wander, here today and gone tomorrow,
Making our mark on everything we find.
Ripping away the soil beneath our feet,
Destroying nature’s grandeur and beauty complete.
The earth has been giving us all it can give,
Yet all that we have taken is not ours to keep.
We have made this a home of our own design,
But destruction awaits us in due time.
We are guests, here today gone tomorrow,
And only if act as such will we suffer no sorrow.
