Last night I slept in the Ocean
Close to the Ocean\'s floor.
What woke me from my slumber
Was washing up on shore.
A Journey to the Sea
To what did I owe this delight.
By chance a wish fulfilled
To the babe I\'d bore that night.
A Mission that was daunting
Painstaking to say the least.
Relief at the abode
Returned a long remembered feast
Travels fore and yore
Mountains, canyons, valleys, streams.
Arrive upon the Mother Island
Shores now shared with the regimes.
No matter to the circumstance
Safety was the goal.
Sacred Sojurn to the coastline
Cleared ruminations in my Soul.
~A glance upon her waves and like a trance the mind behaves.~
She senses me, recalling her soothing winds
A gift from miles before.
Welcome Home child, you\'ve nothing to fear
Sing the shells spread on her shore.
Greeted by Her Majesty
Guard dogs surround in play.
One by one flock to my lap
Told t\'was Nature\'s way.
~Reconnecting with the Sea frees once lost subaqueous drips of me.~
Imparted by her current,
she surrounds me with her Love
Serenaded by the Serpent,
wrapped my body like a glove.
Sun rays penetrate
to far below the surface
Reflecting back visions
of picturesque crystalline polymorphous.
