Today I fell and gave my ankle a small fracture,
The pain was so incredibly bad, but I had to endure,
A ride in an ambulance to the nearest hospital for an evaluation,
It wasn\'t a shatter or full break, imagine my elation,
A fracture of the talus bone that connects the foot and the leg bone
It hurts like hell,at least I got help and I\'m not alone,
I can\'t imagine going through this by myself, with nobody to help,
Ouch, a little sharp pain, it made me yelp,
Oh well, it must be for a reason,
That will come to light in the right season,
A fractured ankle in not fun at all,
I\'m out of work for a while, til I can recover from my fall,
Don\'t know what I will do but I trust God has a plan,
So I will be so patient and thankful for my hard working man,
He will work so we can make ends meet,
He will pick up the slack while I stay home off my hurting feet.
