In my core, the waves churn
they pitch and swell with the strength of a stormy ocean.
I feel longing from a part of myself
as deep and unknown as a trench,
a pull as strong as any riptide,
an expansiveness as vast as the open sea
But oh, wait- I\'m in public
I bind these feelings
Wrap them in layers around myself forming a wall
2 feet thick
my eyes are as dry as the Dunes
but the waves pound against it
