Why me Lord?
What have I ever done,
to deserve even one,
of these pleasures I\'ve known?
Tell me, Lord.
What did I ever do,
that was worth loving you,
for the kindness you\'ve shown?
Lord help me, Jesus.
I\'ve wasted it so.
Help me, Jesus.
I know what I am.
But now that I know,
that I needed you so,
help me, Jesus.
My soul\'s in your hands.
Try me, Lord,
if you think there\'s a way,
I can try to repay,
all I\'ve taken from you.
Maybe, Lord,
I can show someone else,
what I\'ve been through myself,
on my way back to you.
-
My Lord, I love you so.
I am your servent,
and you are my host.
You are always there,
when I need you most.
I know who I am;
the personal battles I fight,
that no one else sees,
except you, my light.
You are my sword,
and you are my shield.
So to you, my Lord,
I will always yield.
So although I may,
see earthly pleasures,
my life will always be a swirl.
Until that day,
my Lord and Savior,
I enter your heavenly world.
