aDarkerMind
where hides my sun and moon
where hides my sun and moon
hides crystals gaze of sorrow and regret.
half Gemini
one half of gallows pole;
my seeping flesh now drips it\'s fourteen days
from heaven to the darkness of the womb
where sings my twin his vengeance through my skull;
gods gift as gold as carcass in a stream;
the hidden gold of memories and screams;
too red my blood of engine oil and sulphur
as melts two sisters dumb as I now blind
dumb as perfume; brighter than the lie;
how cold the voice of water through my veins
as cities creep and crawl four fathoms deep
across the sea-beds feathers of contempt;
how beautiful the mermaids as they sleep;
beneath their sheets of turquoise
hides heaven from my hacking cough of torture;
their reaching arms of suicide
more touching than the flames that hide
this mask I wear of broken shades of grey;
where hides the sun and moon
hides strangers from the corners of my eyes
from the maggots of bereavement
from the cold and weary comfort of the thigh;
how beautifully the mermaids wave goodbye;
