Dr. A. Arun Daves

My Sorcerer

I\'m bound to a sinister sorcerer\'s sway,
He wields dominion over my life\'s array.
Initially, he appeared fun and so suave,
Yet soon, I became his hapless slave.

A victim with no room to evade,
He seized my essence in a mere gaze.
He\'s cunning, filled with artful deception,
I ponder why we ever made connection.

Due to him, I\'ve become who I resent,
I once had a life, somewhat excellent.
Now it\'s all deceit, theft, and lies,
Followed by nights where I hope to die.

Yet, I cannot break free from this grip,
He\'s too potent, his control doesn\'t slip.
He\'s the first I turn to when I awake,
I can\'t abandon him for my children\'s sake.

I used to be loving, kind, and vivacious,
But that was before he became rapacious.
Everyone says I\'m not the type at all,
They can\'t fathom me in his thrall.

I was once a sweet Southern belle,
But now, my teeth decay as I dwell.
My Sorcerer taunts, \"You won\'t stay clean,
You\'re too enamored to be serene.\"

He relishes my lack of a fight,
As I crumble in sorrow, night after night.
I\'m already a corpse, just an empty shell,
He\'s condemned me to a living hell.

Yes, I\'m ensnared by the darkest kind,
He usurped everything benevolent behind.
He knows no mercy, respects no creed,
Only seeks his next victim in need.

I implore you never to cross his path,
If you do, flee swiftly, evade his wrath.
In case you encounter Meth, Crystal, or Ice,
Take my counsel; it\'s not worth the price.

No one should succumb to this vile enchanter,
Believe me, this is your life, not a banter.
Nothing good arises from knowing this fiend,
So never experiment, no matter how life may seem.

My unseen Sorcerer shattered my soul,
So avoid meeting him, heed this as your goal.\"
