Petrichor of Love

In The Hallowed Halls of Yesterday

In the hallowed halls of yesterday\'s embrace,

Where twilight\'s tender touch did softly trace,

The ripples of our hearts, as passions swayed,

A tale of love and longing here portrayed.

The moon, a silv\'ry orb in night\'s attire,

Did cast its pallid glow, like a gentle fire,

Upon the stage where we, as lovers, tread,

In life\'s grand play, where destinies were spread.

Above, the stars, like diamonds in the sky,

Did wink and twinkle with a knowing eye,

As if to say, \"These two, so deeply smit,

In love\'s sweet throes, shall evermore commit.\"

Within the garden, where my fair Juliet stood,

A balcony embellished in ivy\'s hood,

She, like a rose in bloom, in splendour rare,

Enthralled my heart, ensnared in love\'s own snare.

Her voice, a melody of dulcet tone,

Did echo through the night, to me, alone,

A serenade of love, a whispered plea,

To be with her, in sweet eternity.

\"Romeo,\" she called, her voice a silken thread,

That wove a web of love within my head,

And there I stood, entranced, beneath her gaze,

In that enchanted hour\'s beguiling maze.

The scent of roses filled the balmy air,

As passion\'s flame ignited, fierce and rare,

In her fair eyes, a universe unfurled,

Two lovers lost within the boundless world.

Her hand, like porcelain, I dared to touch,

To feel the warmth of love, it meant so much,

A stolen kiss, our lips in sweet ballet,

As night and day collided in that way.

In the hallowed halls of memory\'s keep,

Where moon and stars their solemn vigil keep,

Our love endures, a tale of joy and woe,

A timeless verse, in passion\'s ebb and flow.

The nightingale, with song so sweet and true,

Did sing of love, as lovers often do,

And in that garden, \'neath the silvered moon,

We danced to nature\'s sweet and ancient tune.

Though time may pass, and seasons wax and wane,

In the hallowed halls of love\'s domain,

Our spirits linger, bound by destiny,

In love\'s eternal grip, forever free.

Oh, let us dwell within this sacred space,

Where love transcends the bounds of time and place,

In the hallowed halls of yesterday\'s grace,

Our love abides, in this enduring chase.

The stars, the moon, the garden\'s scented air,

Shall ever witness love beyond compare,

In the hallowed halls, where memories endure,

Our love, a flame that time can ne\'er obscure.

And as the years doth weave their threads anew,

Our love, undying, steadfast, ever true,

Shall bloom in every season, every clime,

A timeless ode to love\'s enduring prime.

Though time may pass, and seasons wax and wane,

In the hallowed halls of love\'s domain,

Our spirits linger, bound by destiny,

In love\'s eternal grip, forever free.

Oh, let us dwell within this sacred space,

Where love transcends the bounds of time and place,

In the hallowed halls of yesterday\'s grace,

Our love abides, in this enduring chase.

The stars, the moon, the garden\'s scented air,

Shall ever witness love beyond compare,

In hallowed halls, where memories endure,

Our love, a flame that time can ne\'er obscure.
