Once a principal of discipline and order,
Now a congressman, a different border,
He hatched a plan, a ruse so bold,
To alter the fate of the votes foretold.
He pulled the alarm, the bells rang high,
Chaos ensued, and fears ran by,
But in his heart, a hidden intent,
To delay the vote, he was hell-bent.
As sirens wailed and tempers flared,
He claimed he thought, unprepared,
The alarm would lead to an escape,
An emergency door, a twist of fate.
But truth\'s relentless, it will persist,
In the face of deceit, it can\'t be missed,
For accountability\'s the path we tread,
When lies and games lead us misled.
Now he plays the victim, a clever guise,
Accusations fly, and anger does rise,
But in the end, the facts stand tall,
Deception\'s curtain must surely fall.
