SILENT ACHE

As the seasons of life pass, I kept on swung between sun and shade

The pain tends to remain and then seemed to fade

As I close my eyes there I saw something that raced my heart

That was looking toward me, but I started to depart

I tried to look toward the new beginnings but the pictures come and go

The silent ache in the heart continue to grow

My heart questions me, how can you handle such an ache?

How can you bounce back again and again? How this pain has settled in your heart?

I replied and said this pain would never go away.

Tooba.
