O Lord, may we here not hide your
Righteousness in heart, sure
Though it remains there, may we share
It in love, mercy, care
And too declare your faithfulness
Your salvation, us bless
Not conceal your lovingkindness
But it to folk confess
Withhold not your tender mercies
From us, O Lord, so sees
Each one that your lovingkindness
And truth keep us, no less
When many evils us surround
In you trust, peace be found
If sins be overwhelming, do
Forgive, and us renew
Be pleased, O Lord, to save us, for
we need your graces pure
