My first lesson

Waves approach the shore

Nothing can reverse.

The child\'s tears have no effect,

As the sands of time trickle.

The water engulfs the hand made moat,

The sand structures are washed away.

Hard fought each bucket emptied.

The child sits, arms around their knees with head bent down.

Weighed down by heaviness, gravity no longer a friend.

Wisdom is rarely granted but earned through trial and tolls.

The event just passed considered important, the illusion of control.
