Growing up i had a guiding star,

Mom and dad my heroes,

In the early morning i\'d hear moms grace, her words of wisdom like a warm embrace.
She held the fort,
the heart of our home,
with her love and care,
we\'d never be alone.
Dad, with his strength and his steady hand,
taught me to stand tall, to take a stand.
In the face of adversity he never backed down,
his lessons and story\'s like a kings golden crown.
If Together we stand,
we\'d never be wrong,
In the darkest moments he kept us strong.
