Happy

Everywhere around me was dull, dark and gloomy
but I, somehow was happy.
I sensed the pain all around me,
but today, I won\'t let it dull my spark.
Everything around me burned,
burnt into flames of rage, jealousy, hatred.
I payed no heed.
Everything drowned in the deep pits of greed of these mortals.
Destroying everything the flames couldn\'t burn.

It was their pride, they did not ask for help,
for they felt like beggars, asking for sympathy.
The Karma had served them right.
They deserved it.
Everything around me was dull, dark, gloomy.
but I, was unusually happy and satisfied.
