It hits hard to see-
A carefree child ,
become a burdened teen.
It hits hard to see-
How we had to stop dreaming,
to wake up to reality.
It hits hard to see-
How we wanted to grow up so bad
And now that we finally came of age,
our train of thoughts suddenly comes to a halt-
We were supposed to be happy!
Then-
why are we always so sad?
Through life,
Change is the only entity,
Oh so permanent!
Hence the wise folk enjoy the moment.
People change, places change, we do too
What remains are the memories we have-
They\'re the one\'s -
that no robber can loot.
In the end, changes do hit hard!
When we turn back and see -
How different endings are from the start.
But it can also be beautiful!
Change can set you free-
Change is what the soul runs from,but also seeks-
Change is inevitable.
