Moonlight beckons me to follow its path to the stars and to space;
Where I can float free in the stillness.
The silence taunts me as my mind’s noise becomes a roar.
Higher I climb to escape the sound, to ease the clamor.
The stars wander along, and I reach for one.
I feel its golden glimmer.
A glimmer of light, a glimmer of madness exploding inside.
Drifting, my body reclines as I let go and star dust flutters.
Sparkling, shimmering like fairies dancing.
A glow in my mind’s corner illuminates the hysteria, the delusion of life.
It’s all fantasy, fallacy that I can be free.
