The Generational Curse

Our love could never be paired by fate

I am forever in your debt

The sun is a radiation of still pride

I may have made it vain

The surrealness of a crueler life

Has bonded me into shame

Now the rose dares speak

Against the living and the weak

How far have we gone to bestow

The enviest of the years?

Oh shame, oh shame and its name

Is it all fair gain?

Have I taught myself a lesson,

Or is life really an insult masterpiece?

To whom this may concern...

To hell with all the dirty dishes

And the walls need painting

And the cats need to hide in despair

For the mountain is no longer limited

For I see hell everywhere

The vast and glorious treason

Is not as brilliant as it seems

And to my fellow friends and co-workers

May you fall apart at the seams

For your families aren\'t perfect neither

For the spell radiates itself

And time after time after time

The vintage swells

And the old remains...

For the deep dark secrets

Of grandma and grandpa

Have ruined this family for good.

Oh where is my teddy bear,

And where are my old toys?

Are they trapped in the closet

Like everything else?

I beg to ponder upon my days

For this generational curse is killing me.
