I love talking.

The way words seem to flow out of the tongue as though the minds are tied.

Fill in lines with jokes and stuff that let the brain run wild.

What a fantastic thing, to put meaning to sounds we make with our mouths.

I could tell you about my feelings and you would know what I’m speaking about.

The sentences form themselves and we let patience show results in further understanding on how we think.

If we talk long enough you could guess when my eyes choose to blink.

Talking helps us grow, it’s sustenance for the mind and can nurture the soul.

Silence is good from time to time because it’s a reflection of the heart laid bare,

With each beat gives an honest thought to one’s self.

It can be unforgiving, a horrible mirror where you are all to blame and irrational beliefs succeed.

I hate the mirror sometimes because through its attempts to deceive and corrupt me, in a way it shows me what I need.

So talk or not, of truths that we both forgot and knew

But all I could possibly know in this moment,

Is that I just love talking with you.
