For unto us is born a child
He holy, undefiled
Unto us is given a son
Jesus the sinless one
The government shall be upon
His shoulders, He bears, see
All rule and all authority
For Lord and King He be
His name shall be called Wonderful
Counsellor to us all
The mighty God, the Prince of Peace
Whose reign shall never cease

To Him we worship bring
Of increase of His government
And peace there no relent
He born from royal David\'s line
Yet human and divine
He shall establish, He shall set
His throne, kingdom still yet
It be with judgment and justice
A godly rule be this
