Dear you
bastard summer months
With the sunlight shining through
your unbounded cloudy avenue
Where water flows against the sky
unsavory currents (like unsavory pie)
The mountains sleep restlessly
But never do they sleep less than me
April, June and late July
things, they surely do go awry
I wouldn\'t know of any grisly tales
for the velvet cloth, like a forested jail
Keeps hills powdered, keeping them sleek
shining like pearls, lasting a week
The velveteen hills shiver away,
All of the sunlight begging to stay
So until the winds kills
all the bitter at once
Keep back dear bastard,
dear summer months
