Here I am again
Been walking for miles
The wind sweeping my hair
Whistling against my brown cheeks
As i have looked hither and there
For the shade from the wintry sun
Where there trees are dead
Whence does hope emerge from
Deep in my freezing bosom
Whispering, look, again
The mind remembers what these eyes
Flowing with frozen tears tries
To forget yet again
That there was trees here
Forests of love and peace
Has it only been 360 days or degrees too
Once again I am here
Looking for shade
Where the trees are dead.
