I sit here contemplating
The end of 2023
The world in a precarious state
I pray a peaceful world to be
As this year ends
And we pass through another door
God bless the innocent
As we enter 2024
I wish to all Earthly life
Good health and fortune
Be kind to each other
Help those of misfortune
This third rock from the Sun
We all call the Earth
Let it bond us all together
Solidify our humanely worth
For we are all
Sisters and brothers
Let us make proud
Our fathers and mothers
May world love
Speak a unified voice
For humanity to come together
And see through eyes of communal choice
May we put down our armaments
Weapons of mass destruction
Give to the children
A future of world unification
My wish for everyone
Only happy tears
And for you all
Have a very Happy New Year
