Never meant for the light

In the haunting corridors of our entwined fate,
I glimpse the rueful echoes of a love innate.
A lament that our paths crossed in this abyss,
Where sorrow reigns, sealing our love\'s amiss.

I dragged you down through shards of shattered dreams,
A broken mosaic of silenced, tear-filled streams.
Blameless you are, for the ruin I bestow,
In this desolate landscape where roses refuse to grow.

Angelic essence, so pure, so divine,
Entwined with my darkness, a tragic design.
Your wings clipped by the weight of my despair,
A celestial soul ensnared in my despairing lair.

They foretold my descent, a tale now in bloom,
Every step, every breath, leading to doom.
Your radiance dims in my presence, I see,
For an angel\'s embrace was never meant for me.

In the hushed symphony of our tragic decree,
The bitter truth remains: you were never meant for me.
