Noticing an Evening

Once I lit incense in my room

It was late afternoon

And a winter sun sat perfectly

So that my room glowed

Like wonder

A stream of smoke

Took a route of escape

To evade the uninhabited

Rooms outside my personal life

The light of few minutes

Reveals the escape artist

Suddenly a galaxy so real

Hangs in my mind

Heaven becomes a smell

A sight I\'d spend my whole life

Keeping alive

Now that I write this

The sun hides behind cornfields

My incense burned out

And everything feels horribly real

Once again I must live
