Moon Over Beverly

Well karma is a beautiful woman

Dressed in false hopes;

Behold a woman named Beverly

Whose heart is overshadowed by fear

For those who stand in the darkness

Are desperately seeking for the light...

I find myself overruled

For Beverly is really a demon

She shames other women

Because she can\'t face a man

What other community wants this

In an unwanton town?

And for gosh sakes, Reno Nevada, is an eerie and ugly place

The salt-like roses that reappear

The desperate genies of despair,

For I don\'t want any part of this

The books are in denial

And for which cause does this bitter shame rebuke?

For there is a moon over Beverly...the Beverly that she speaks

And every weak soul never bows down

To a woman of tarry

For she plays her part in a movie

Without souls,

Oh can you feel her

Trembling in the distance?

As dark voices come to light

No man is safe from thunder

Oh moon over Beverly, why don\'t you speak?

For her shallow, callous words, do stink

And the stars fall beneath her

Like solemn solitudes,

And her mind is completely fragile

From unspoken news...

For she has no idea

How to play the part,

For her body is full

Of untanned heart--

How do I know this?

For her words fuel the heart

And she stumbles across a penguin

With shallow knees,

How shallow is she?

I supposed not,

For what do I suppose

If she\'s bare?

For I cannot relate to a shallow cause

For I know not Beverly

And she knows not me...

For she\'s just a stranger of the devil

Rolling out his red carpet to greet her.
