In the glow of my youthful dream,
I pen these words, yet I don\'t scheme,
A lover\'s wish, a heart\'s true plea,
It\'s more than what the eyes can see.
When I say be my lover dear,
I don\'t mean secrets whispered near,
No affair or shallow embrace,
My love for you\'s not such a base.
I don\'t mean sleep with me, no lies,
Not fleeting lust \'neath moonlit skies,
I want us back where love begins,
In innocent hearts, unmarked by sins.
Be the one who loves me, pure and sweet,
A love untouched by world\'s deceit,
I want to be the one who loves you so,
A connection deep, where true love grows.
Let\'s go back down to the root,
Where love\'s a seed, strong and resolute,
In each other\'s eyes we\'ll truly see,
The purity of love, as it\'s meant to be.
Hold my hand and walk this path,
With youthful vigor and heart\'s warm laugh,
Be my lover, in truest sense,
A love unmasked, without pretense.
