Calling My Children Home

I have left Mum in Walsingham,

Going back ‘cause she’s been calling.

The world I’ve known, quickly falling,

Her love for me is greater than.

“Stand tall!” she’d teach me who I am,

“Set your face toward noble living.”

I have left Mum in Walsingham,

Going back ‘cause she’s been calling.

Against the land’s, its slick and sham,

Her figure’s stately in standing,

My aching soul, she’s been sensing,

Her sweet hand pointing to the Lamb,

I have left Mum in Walsingham.
