If We Had a Chance To Rewrite The Love Were After

What if I rewrite the ending, my love?

So that we stay entwined, hand in glove.

No longer will we let go and part,

But instead, stay strong, united at heart.

Valentine\'s Day, a bitter pill to swallow,

It dredges up memories, painful and hollow.

But if you bring me flowers, my dear,

Let it be because you hold me near.

Confess your worries, your concerns too,

Don\'t deny my feelings, let them shine through.

The effort I put in, please don\'t discredit,

For love should never be taken for granted.

One day, I may no longer be near,

But until then, show me what I hold dear.

Embrace me with adventure, love, and a daring spree,

Take risks with me, let our spirits run free.

Whisk me away in a waltz\'s embrace,

And steal a kiss, catching me off base.

If I matter to you, my love, heed my plea,

Are you brave enough for this grand decree?

Or will you give up when tested, when tasked?

For love requires strength, a love that will last.

So let us rewrite the ending, my dear,

And together, we\'ll conquer whatever we fear.
