The day I first saw you
Is the day my journey began
Like an endless river
Through my heart you ran
My virgin heart you morphed
Enhanced with just one look
With eyes of love
And your smile the hook
On love’s train to eternity
A content passenger was I
Your smile embracing my heart
And with thanks I look to the sky
Love was destined
To deliver you to my heart
For love knew that you and I
Would never ever part
Though fate took you away
My heart follows you always
For all your tomorrows
