You gave me everything that I needed and more.
Showed me what it was truly like to be in relationship.
To be shown not every man and women is a narcissistic prick,
And has an ego that would outweigh any positive attribute that they have to bring.
You looked after me and showed me new, fun and exiting.
However maybe I didn’t love you.
Maybe, as we ebbed and flowed through life,
We would have quarrelled,
Grown sick of each others faults,
Then maybe I wouldn’t feel so strongly about you, as I do today.
But as it stands now,
