It doesn’t matter what others think or say. What matters most is you learn from your mistakes. The opinions of others don’t matter for they don’t know your story; even if they did or do now it wouldn’t change what they’ve said or believed for all history. It doesn’t matter how much you have or the style of clothes you wear. What matters is how you show up for those you truly care. It doesn’t matter how old you are or the kind of car you drive. What matters is how you treat each other on life’s bumpy ride. The respect you give him when he opens up to you; with an open heart and mind you show him for him there is nothing you wouldn’t do. The understanding and compassion you show her when life gets to be too much; knowing that all she needs at times is your touch. It doesn’t matter, the material things you can’t take with you when it’s your time. What matters is how you make people feel while you’re still alive.
